Truths that sting, yet inspire

By Doruvu Paul Jagan Babu:Bureau Chief

With words like bullets, sharp and bold,
truths, now untold,
Echo through the hearts of the land,
Challenging all to take a stand.

Farmers toil in fields each day,
Their sons in the army pass away,
But leaders’ kids, far off they roam,
In foreign lands, they call it home.

The bitter truth we must unfold,
We vote for failures, bright and bold,
We dream of gold, but end with dust,
In leaders, whom we’ve placed our trust.

If five years in the army they serve,
80% of crashes, they’d observe,
Would fix themselves without delay,
And bring more order to the fray.

For 30 years, no pension to see,
But for five years in power, it’s free!
Why do leaders reap what they don’t sow,
While workers’ futures never glow?

Throw a shoe at leaders, and you’ll land in jail,
But stone the army, and you prevail?
Why this double standard’s play,
Where justice seems to lose its way?

Tolls rise high on farmers’ carts,
While ministers roam with privileged hearts,
The farmer’s work called thief’s delight,
But leaders’ greed is shining bright.

In schools, 100% of politics thrives,
But politics has no education in lives,
Oh, what a mess we have today,
With zero wisdom in the fray.

Talents flee like birds of flight,
Leaving behind a land of blight,
If leaders’ kids faced what we do,
They’d change the system through and through.

Why pay ₹15,000 for a phone,
When ₹399 gives more alone?
Why waste our tax on lavish things,
When the common man has broken wings?

Nana’s words hit hard, they hurt,
But in their pain, there’s truth and dirt,
A wake-up call for all to hear,
To make our country’s future clear.

Let these rhymes shake hearts and souls,
For change is near when truth unfolds.
Patekar’s bullets, raw and real,
Push us to think, to act, to feel.

This message, going viral on social media in the name of Nana Patekar’s bullets, has now been composed in poetic form to add essence. These bullets expose political hypocrisy, unfair privileges for leaders, neglect of farmers, and the corruption in education and governance.
