Two fishermen killed in road accident in Konaseema District !!!

Andhra Pradesh: In the early hours of Friday, two fishermen from Alamuru were killed and one was seriously injured in a road accident on the Jonnada-Mandapet R&B Road near Gummileru, within the Kothapet Constituency of Dr. BR Ambedkar Konaseema District. Alamuru SI L Srinu Naik confirmed that Lanke Suribabu (49) and Vanamadi Saibabu (62) died on the spot, while another individual sustained serious injuries.

Tragic incident near Gummileru leaves one injured

The incident occurred when Suribabu, Saibabu, and several other fishermen were heading to Tungapadu pond for fishing in a Bolero vehicle. A tractor from the civil supplies department, traveling from Mandapet to Alamuru, collided with their vehicle near Jayalakshmi Rice Mill.

SI Srinu Naik, who promptly arrived at the scene, said that the injured were taken to a local hospital, while the deceased were taken to an area hospital for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and the investigation is underway.
