Dhanshristi Trust Organizes Entrepreneurship Development Programme in Chas, Bokaro

The programme focused on providing participants with practical knowledge of starting and managing small businesses, identifying local market opportunities, preparing basic business plans, and developing sustainable self-employment opportunities.

During the training, participants received guidance on business planning, start-up costs, product pricing, profit estimation, and financial record management. The sessions also highlighted the importance of maintaining proper accounts, managing cash flow, developing regular savings habits, and making responsible financial decisions.

Special attention was given to understanding customer needs, analysing local market demand, identifying competitors, and improving customer service. Participants were also introduced to marketing strategies, digital promotion, and online selling opportunities that can help small businesses expand their customer base.

The programme included interactive discussions on local business opportunities, practical exercises to develop business ideas and estimate costs, and group discussions on challenges commonly faced by small enterprises. A question-and-answer session provided participants with an opportunity to clarify their doubts and understand possible next steps for developing their business ideas.

The training also covered awareness of Udyam/MSME registration, relevant entrepreneurship training opportunities, formal credit facilities, and government-supported assistance, subject to applicable eligibility criteria.

Through this initiative, Dhanshristi Bhavishya Nidhi Trust aimed to encourage entrepreneurial confidence, improve financial literacy, and support sustainable livelihood development. The programme emphasized that effective planning, financial discipline, market understanding, and customer satisfaction are essential for establishing and gradually expanding a successful micro-enterprise.
