BC Front demands immediate release of subsidy loans for poor
By Doruvu Paul Jagan Babu: Assistant Chief Editor

Kadapa – Andhra Pradesh: BC United National Front State President DM Obulesu Yadav has demanded that the state government immediately release the subsidy component of the BC Corporation loans sanctioned for the development of Backward Classes, alleging that the government is deceiving BCs by delaying the process.
Protest at Kadapa Collector’s Office
A protest was organized on Monday in front of the Kadapa Collector’s Office under the auspices of the BC United National Front. During the demonstration, a petition was submitted to the District Revenue Officer (DRO) through the public grievances program, urging the government to expedite the release of subsidy loans promised under self-employment schemes.
Lakhs of applicants await sanctioned loans
Obulesu Yadav stated that 42.29 lakh BCs across the state have applied for BC Corporation subsidy loans under self-employment schemes in 2025, out of which six lakh applications were shortlisted. He said there are over 30,000 beneficiaries under various employment schemes across Andhra Pradesh, including 1,550 in Kadapa district. Despite a lapse of 10 months, he alleged, many applicants are still waiting for sanction and subsidy disbursement, causing severe hardship to weaker sections.
Allegations of delay and neglect
He accused the state government of announcing schemes for publicity but failing to implement them effectively. “The poor BC communities who depend on these loans for their livelihood are losing hope due to bureaucratic delay and lack of accountability,” Obulesu Yadav said, demanding that subsidies be released immediately for already sanctioned loans and new loans be approved without further delay.
DRO promises to forward request
Responding to the protestors, the District Revenue Officer assured the delegation that the issue would be immediately brought to the attention of the state government for necessary action.
Demand for judicial appointments as per roster
The BC United National Front also urged the government to appoint BC candidates as GP, PP, Assistant GP, and Assistant PP in district and taluka-level judicial posts as per the existing reservation roster.
