By Doruvu Paul Jagan Babu: Assistant Chief Editor

Kadapa – Andhra Pradesh: BC United National Front State President DM Obulesu Yadav has demanded the implementation of 34 percent BC political reservations in Kadapa City Corporation and allotment of the Mayor’s post to BC General in the upcoming polls.

Violation of rights

Yadav said Kadapa Corporation officials failed to honour constitutional rights by giving BCs only nine seats instead of 17. He called it a betrayal of BC representation. He announced a round table with BC associations and warned of legal measures, including a complaint to the Central Election Commission, if full reservations are not implemented. He urged the TDP government to hold elections quickly and ensure the Mayor’s post is given to BCs.

BC United National Front district leaders Y Mallaiah, T Nageswara Rao, Ramana, Shiva and others were present.
