Guntur – Andhra Pradesh: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) state leaders have called upon SC, ST, BC, and minority graduate voters to support former minister Alapati Rajendra Prasad in the upcoming graduate MLC elections scheduled for the 27th of this month. Addressing a press conference in Guntur on Saturday, Malamahanadu State Convener Korrapati Suresh and Yanadi Hakkula Porata Samiti State President Thiruveedhula Shankar Prasad emphasized that Prasad’s victory would be crucial for the upliftment of marginalized communities.
A champion for education and development
The TDP leader Korrapati Suresh highlighted Alapati Rajendra Prasad’s significant contributions to education and youth development. Coming from a farmer’s family, Prasad has actively fought for student issues and worked to introduce technical education during his tenure as the State Education Minister. His efforts have played a pivotal role in enabling SC, ST, BC, and minority students to excel as engineering graduates and advance in various professional fields.
Ensuring representation for the oppressed classes
Suresh and Shankar reiterated that Alapati Rajendra Prasad’s extensive experience and commitment to public service make him an ideal representative in the Legislative Council. His presence, they argued, would ensure that the voices of marginalized communities are heard and their concerns addressed effectively. They stressed that having a leader like Prasad in the Council would lead to policy decisions benefiting the backward and minority communities.
Call for voter support
As the election date approaches, the TDP leaders urged graduate voters in Guntur, Palnadu, and Bapatla districts to recognize the importance of supporting a leader dedicated to their welfare. They asserted that Prasad’s track record of service and accessibility makes him the best candidate to represent and advocate for the needs of SC, ST, BC, and minority graduates in the Legislative Council.
