PDF MLCs endorse DV Raghavulu for graduates MLC election

Amalapuram – Andhra Pradesh: PDF MLCs Illa Venkateswara Rao and Borra Gopimurthy have urged graduates in the combined East and West Godavari districts to elect Didla Veera Raghavulu as their MLC with a decisive majority. Speaking at the PDF MLC introductory forum at the UTF office in Amalapuram on Thursday, they emphasized the PDF’s commitment to representing graduates’ concerns in the legislature.
PDF’s commitment to graduate representation
The leaders recalled past efforts by PDF MLCs to amplify graduates’ voices and resolve their issues through legislative advocacy. MLC Illa Venkateswara Rao highlighted how the UTF, initially contesting only teachers’ MLC elections, later expanded its focus to include graduates, leading to PDF’s electoral success.

Candidate pledges to fight for graduates
DV Raghavulu, the PDF candidate, affirmed his commitment to addressing graduates’ concerns. With 40 years of experience in the teachers’ movement and a background in farming, he vowed to continue his activism through the legislative platform.
Support from public associations and UTF leaders
Public association leader Kaarem Venkateswara Rao extended full support to Raghav’s candidacy. UTF State President Nakka Venkateswarlu stressed that any victory in the elections would belong to the PDF, urging UTF leaders to work diligently for success.
The event saw participation from UTF leaders KSS Prasad, Gara Chittibabu, N Aruna Kumari, and T Chakravarthy, along with public association representatives including Duvva Sesha Babji, M Rajasekhar, and Dr. Challa Ravikumar, among others.
