Vijayawada flood relief efforts highlight unity and national responsibility

Andhra Pradesh: Ignited Helping Minds, Good Work Society (GWS), and Jai Bharat came together to aid victims of the recent floods in Vijayawada. Their collaborative efforts on Sunday, brought relief and support to those affected, showcasing the power of community and unity during crises.
Felicitation ceremony by Good Work Society
Good Work Society organized a felicitation meeting to honour the contributors to the relief work. The event was graced by key members, including Jai Bharat leaders Khadignasi Srinivas Pitla and Khadignasi Rajamani, alongside GWS leaders Nuruddin, President of Good Work Society, Riyaz, Co-President, Najeeb, In-charge and D Varaprasad from Joshua Meditation Center.
The chief guests distributed certificates to all participants, recognizing their dedication and selfless service.

Unity and responsibility emphasized
Jai Bharat leader Srinivas delivered an inspiring speech, underscoring the nation’s shared heritage and collective responsibilities, “This country belongs to all of us. It is not for religious fanatics or those who incite hatred. This country belongs to people with values, to Ashfaq Khulla Khan and Ram Prasad, who sacrificed their lives for freedom. It belongs to Gandhiji, who sought no position, and to Bibi Amtusalaam, who fasted for Hindu-Muslim unity.”
Srinivas called on the audience to continue working towards unity and harmony, reiterating the importance of fostering solidarity beyond religious and social divides.

The event highlighted that the nation’s true essence lies in the efforts of those who prioritize unity and selfless service. Both Jai Bharat and Good Work Society leaders urged everyone to uphold these values and work together to build a stronger, more inclusive country.
