Hyderabad: A massive protest led by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud brought together a large contingent of Congress leaders to address pressing national concerns. The demonstration, part of the All India Congress Committee’s (AICC) call for nationwide protests, focused on alleged corruption involving Gautam Adani and increasing communal tensions under the BJP-led central government.
The event witnessed the participation of senior party leaders, including Chief Ministe Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, AICC Incharge Deepa Das Munshi, Cabinet Ministers, MLCs, MLAs, DCC presidents, and other senior leaders and Representatives from Mahila Congress, Seva Dal, Youth Congress, and NSUI.

Peaceful protest with powerful slogans
The protest concluded peacefully, with participants chanting slogans such as remove Modi, save the nation, Modi and Adani, partners in looting the nation and Modi’s authoritarianism won’t succeed.
These slogans highlighted the Congress party’s critique of Prime Minister Modi’s governance, accusing him of crony capitalism and stoking communal unrest.
AICC’s call for accountability
The protest aligned with the AICC’s broader efforts to demand transparency and accountability from the BJP-led government. Congress leaders emphasized their commitment to exposing the alleged Adani irregularities and addressing the rising polarization in the country.
Congress leadership in one voice said, “This protest is a stand against corruption and divisive politics. The people of India deserve a government that prioritizes their welfare over crony capitalism and communal agendas.”
Congress displays unity and resolve
The large turnout and involvement of various Congress wings, including the Youth Congress, NSUI, and Mahila Congress, underscored the party’s united front in confronting national issues. The peaceful yet powerful protest reinforced the Congress’s determination to challenge the Modi government and advocate for a more inclusive and transparent India.
