Rajahmundry – Andhra Pradesh : Rashtriya Praja Congress Founding President Meda Srinivas has alleged that Hyderabadi Andhras are living under threat due to political and regional conspiracies fueled by KCR, RGV, and other influential forces in Telangana, with repercussions impacting Andhra Pradesh as well.
Allegations against KCR and RGV
Meda Srinivas accused Telangana former Chief Minister KCR and RGV of orchestrating political and regional hysteria to marginalize Andhras in Hyderabad. He claimed KCR is mobilizing mercenary groups and anti-social forces, creating a climate of fear and political dominance that targets innocent Andhras.

Allu Arjun incident and film industry politics
Srinivas criticized the excessive targeting of actor Allu Arjun, alleging it is an attempt to divert attention from the Telangana government’s incompetence. He questioned Chiranjeevi’s silence on the matter, speculating whether it stemmed from fear or indirect cooperation with political strategies of the Andhra and Telangana governments.
Impact of film families on Andhra Pride
He alleged that two prominent film families have compromised Andhra’s self-respect, serving the interests of Telangana’s political elite. According to Srinivas, these families have pawned the labour and pride of Andhras for personal and political gains, misleading the youth and overshadowing the sacrifices of Andhra’s heroes.
‘Go Back Andhra’ slogan still haunts
Even after a decade since the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, the “Go Back Andhra” slogan persists, Srinivas noted, adding that regional fanaticism in Telangana and caste-based politics in Andhra are destroying the future of both states.
Concerns over youth and future generations
Srinivas expressed concern that the youth in Andhra Pradesh are being misled by political conspiracies and reel heroes. He emphasized the need to remember the legacy of Andhra warriors and resist glorifying those who exploit regional and caste divisions.
Allegations against political and film industry figures
Srinivas alleged that KCR is plotting to create law and order issues to weaken the Revanth Reddy government, aiming for President’s rule. He also accused figures like Ram Gopal Varma and others in the Telugu film industry of being complicit in these conspiracies, acting as slaves to political agendas.

Criticism of Telangana Film Corporation’s role
He pointed out that Telangana Film Corporation Chairman Dil Raju allegedly played a role in intimidating the Allu family during recent controversies. Srinivas claimed such actions serve the interests of political tycoons, exacerbating tensions between Andhra and Telangana.
Call for political action
Meda Srinivas urged people to take strong political action to safeguard the future of Andhra and Telangana states. He warned that the inaction and manipulation by influential families and political forces could lead to irreparable damage to the region’s harmony and integrity.
