Mala Mahanadu demands immediate release of SC Corporation funds

Kurnool – Andhra Pradesh: Raising strong objections to the continued delay in the release of Scheduled Caste (SC) Corporation funds, Andhra Pradesh Mala Mahanadu State President Enumala Raju Kumar accused the new coalition government of betraying Dalit hopes, much like its predecessor. He made these remarks during a public meeting organized near the Collector’s office on Wednesday.
Funds blocked despite change in government
Raju Kumar reminded that the previous government failed for five consecutive years to release critical financial support through the SC Corporation, severely impacting Dalit entrepreneurs and beneficiaries. While there was hope for change under the new coalition, he said those hopes were dashed. “They opened the SC Corporation portal in March but closed it in just five days — it was nothing more than an eyewash,” he said.
No mention of SC Corporation in four months
The Mala Mahanadu leader expressed alarm that for four months, the coalition government has made no official mention or allocation of SC Corporation funds. “There’s a total silence from the new government. Are the Dalits no longer on their radar?” he questioned.
Broken promises and super six failure
Raju Kumar criticized the coalition for failing to deliver on its “Super Six” poll promises, especially those meant to uplift the SC community. He said the Dalit community had been hopeful, but has once again been let down. “This government is walking the same path as the previous one—breaking our backs with false hope,” he added.
Leaders and community members join in protest
Mala Mahanadu State General Secretary M Narasappa, Buddhishti Society Presidents Chiranjeevi and Vijay, and other local Dalit leaders joined the protest, calling for urgent release of funds and inclusion of SC-related welfare in upcoming budget priorities. “We demand immediate clarity on fund allocation and restoration of trust with the Dalit community,” said Narasappa.
