Editorial

Alagdiha, Hazaribagh — On the auspicious occasion of World Environment Day, a special tree plantation drive was organized in the Alagdiha area of Hazaribagh district by Indian Socio Income and Grievance Helping Trust (INSIGHT). The program was conducted in the presence of the Trust’s Secretary, Mr. Subhash Singh, along with other active members including Mr. Rohit Yadav. Several local youths and residents also participated enthusiastically in the initiative.

The objective of the program was not limited to planting trees but also to spread environmental awareness within the community. On this occasion, several useful and medicinal plants such as neem, peepal, mango, and hibiscus were planted in local school premises and along roadsides.

Addressing the gathering, Secretary Subhash Singh said,
“Protecting the environment is not just the responsibility of the government or organizations, but a duty of every citizen. Our Trust is committed to supporting and improving society in every sector — social, economic, and environmental.”

Mr. Rohit Yadav also delivered a message to the youth, stating,
“A sapling planted today becomes the shade of tomorrow. Only if we protect nature can future generations remain safe.”

Through this initiative, the INSIGHT Trust delivered a clear message that social service should not be limited to financial assistance alone, but must also include equal responsibility toward nature and environmental protection in Hazaribagh district.
