Firecracker victim needs better care, family seeks government job

Kadapa – Andhra Pradesh: Rayalaseema Communist Party City Committee Member Madagalam Prasad has demanded improved medical treatment and government support for the family of a worker injured in a firecracker accident during a religious procession.
Visit to victim at RIMS hospital
On Saturday, Madagalam Prasad visited the firecracker accident victim and his family members at RIMS Hospital, where the injured worker is undergoing treatment.
Call for better medical treatment
Prasad stated that due to lack of proper precautions during firecracker bursting in a public religious procession, the worker suffered serious injuries. He urged authorities to ensure better medical care for the victim, who is also being treated at Kadapa Government General Hospital.
Family’s livelihood at risk
Highlighting the family’s condition, Prasad said the injured worker is the sole breadwinner and is currently battling for his life, placing the family’s future livelihood in serious jeopardy.
Demand for government support and employment
He appealed to the procession organisers to take responsibility in facilitating financial assistance from the government and demanded that a government job be provided to a family member to support the affected household.
Vijay Kumar, Ravi, Madakalam Vijay, and other party members participated in the visit and expressed solidarity with the victim’s family.
