Editorial

Dhanbad The monthly meeting of Dhanshristi Bhavishya Nidhi Trust was held on August 4, 2025, under the chairmanship of President Mr. Samir Kumar Singh. All office bearers, members, and active volunteers of the organization attended the meeting. The primary objective was to review ongoing activities, share updates on recent training programs, and plan strategies to strengthen financial inclusion initiatives.

President Shares Update on Training Program

During the meeting, President Mr. Samir Kumar Singh informed members about a training and exposure visit organized by the Bankers Rural Development Institute, Lucknow, from July 23 to July 25, 2025.

He stated that the program proved highly informative and beneficial. Representatives from several rural banks and Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) across the country participated in the event. The interaction provided valuable insights into how various institutions are implementing financial inclusion programs and delivering rural banking services.

The President noted that the exposure helped the trust understand practical approaches, operational models, and successful financial outreach strategies being used nationwide.

Discussion on Financial Inclusion Work

Members discussed ways to apply the knowledge gained from the training to local projects. It was emphasized that expanding access to formal financial services for economically weaker sections remains a priority.

The trust plans to strengthen programs related to banking awareness, microcredit access, savings promotion, and micro-insurance services, especially in rural areas.

Proposal for Monthly Training Camps

Trust Secretary Mrs. Sarita Singh proposed that training camps should be organized every month under the financial inclusion projects.

She explained that regular training would improve the skills of field workers and help beneficiaries better understand available financial services. Training sessions can focus on financial literacy, savings habits, digital banking awareness, and self-employment opportunities.

Special Focus on Women’s Financial Inclusion

Mrs. Sarita Singh also stressed the importance of women’s participation in financial programs. She stated that empowering women financially is one of the core objectives of the trust.

According to her, when women gain access to financial services, the benefits extend to families and communities. The trust will therefore continue promoting women’s self-help groups, savings initiatives, and income-generating activities.

Accelerating Awareness Campaigns

The meeting concluded with a decision to intensify awareness campaigns related to financial inclusion. Camps, workshops, and outreach drives will be organized in both rural and semi-urban areas to ensure maximum public participation.

President Mr. Samir Kumar Singh emphasized that collective effort is essential to reach more people and increase awareness about financial services and welfare programs.
