Dhanshristi Organizes Two-Day Financial Inclusion Awareness Program in Dhanbad
Editorial

Dhanbad Dhanshristi Bhavishya Nidhi Trust conducted a two-day Financial Inclusion Awareness Program in Dhanbad from August 16 to August 17, 2025. The initiative aimed to educate economically weaker sections of society about access to formal financial services and promote responsible financial practices.
The program was organized as part of the trust’s ongoing commitment to social development and economic empowerment.
Financial Awareness Activities
During the two-day event, volunteers and field coordinators interacted with local residents and explained the importance of financial inclusion. Participants were informed about the benefits of opening bank accounts, maintaining savings, accessing small loans responsibly, and securing their families through insurance services.
The sessions also highlighted government-supported banking facilities, digital payment systems, and microfinance opportunities available for low-income individuals.
Interactive discussions were held to ensure that participants clearly understood how financial services can improve their livelihoods and provide long-term economic stability.
Support for the Needy
As part of the social outreach initiative, Dhanshristi also organized a food distribution drive during the program. Nutritious meals were provided to 50 individuals from underprivileged backgrounds.
The food distribution aimed to support vulnerable families and reinforce the trust’s commitment to community welfare beyond financial awareness initiatives.
Commitment to Inclusive Development
Representatives of Dhanshristi Bhavishya Nidhi Trust stated that financial inclusion is essential for reducing economic inequality and empowering marginalized communities. Many families still lack access to basic banking and financial services, which limits their growth opportunities.
Through awareness programs like this, the trust seeks to bridge the gap between financial institutions and underserved populations.
The organization plans to continue similar initiatives in other areas to ensure that more people benefit from accessible financial services and social support programs.
