AP CM Chandrababu Naidu distributes pensions, pledges development

Bommanahal – Andhra Pradesh: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, during his visit to Anantapur district, emphasized his government’s commitment to welfare and development. Participating in the “Pedala Sevalo” program, he distributed pensions and announced several initiatives to boost local infrastructure and employment.
Tour of AP CM in Anantapur
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu visited Nemakallu village in Bommanahal mandal, Anantapur district, as part of his tour. He attended the pension distribution program and visited beneficiaries’ homes to personally inquire about their problems. Naidu also offered prayers at the ancient Nemakallu Anjaneyaswamy temple and later addressed the public at the “Pedala Sevalo” meeting.
Pension distribution to 64 lakh beneficiaries
The Chief Minister highlighted that pensions worth Rs 18,000 crore were distributed to 64 lakh people across Andhra Pradesh in five months. At the event, he personally handed over pensions to two poor families in Nemakallu and expressed his satisfaction in fulfilling the government’s welfare objectives.

Promises for local development
Naidu reiterated his commitment to fulfilling election promises and announced several initiatives for Rayadurgam constituency:
Industrial and employment opportunities: Plans to establish an industrial park in the constituency and a 5 TMC reservoir near Nemakallu and Unthakallu to attract industries and create jobs.
Water projects: Assured that the Bairavanithippa project will be supplied with Handreeniva water, completing the household tap scheme.
Temple development: Rs 3 crore sanctioned for the development of the Nemakallu Anjaneyaswamy temple gopurams.
Review meeting with officials
After his public engagements, Naidu conducted a review meeting at the helipad with district ministers, MLAs, and officials. Participants included State Ministers Payyavula Keshav and Savita, MP Ambika Narayana, MLA Kalava Srinivasulu, District Collector Vinod Kumar, and various departmental heads. The discussions focused on the district’s development and future initiatives.
