National IP Yatra empowers MSMEs and entrepreneurs with innovation insights

Guntur – Andhra Pradesh: The “National IP Yatra 2025,” a two-day knowledge-driven event organized at Shubham Hotel, GT Road, Palem, by the KL Intellectual Property Facilitation Center and Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation, concluded with MSMEs expressing immense satisfaction over the sessions that inspired innovation, legal awareness, and entrepreneurial growth.

MSMEs gain valuable knowledge on IP and innovation

Participants from various micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) hailed the program for its practical sessions on patents, trademarks, design registration, copyrights, geographical indications, and intellectual property (IP) commercialization. The event also addressed MSME-related government schemes, legal frameworks, and technology transfer opportunities.

KL University Innovation Director Dr. K Raghav Rao informed that experts such as Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises President APK Reddy, MSME Faculty Trainer J Koteswara Rao, and District Industries Center Officer Y Nagarani sensitized entrepreneurs on effective business strategies and IP management.

Banks ready to support budding entrepreneurs

Union Bank SME Department Chief Manager Sahitya, the chief guest on the second day, stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the NDA government has been encouraging banks to introduce several MSME-oriented schemes.

She emphasized that young entrepreneurs preparing strong project reports can easily access subsidized loans from nationalized banks. “We urge youth to step forward with creative business ideas and establish industries that break away from stereotypes,” she said.

Highlighting the focus on women empowerment, Sahitya added that loans between R s5 lakh and Rs 20 crore are being offered at low interest rates, depending on the business type and scale.

Entrepreneurs engage in productive discussions

The event concluded with interactive sessions, where MSME entrepreneurs voiced their challenges and received practical solutions from experts. Representatives from industries such as Bawa Developers, Forever Living Products, and Amaravati Enterprises actively participated, along with a large number of young women entrepreneurs, making the event a vibrant platform for dialogue and collaboration.

A step toward sustainable entrepreneurial growth

Organizers noted that the National IP Yatra aimed to instill awareness of intellectual property protection and its role in strengthening MSMEs in India’s evolving business landscape. Participants left the venue with renewed confidence to innovate, protect, and commercialize their ideas in the global market.
