District SP emphasizes accuracy, efficiency in police work with modern technology

Kadapa – Andhra Pradesh: District Superintendent of Police (SP) V Harshavardhan Raju underscored the importance of adopting modern technology to improve the efficiency and professionalism of daily police operations. Speaking at a training session for station SIs, writers, and computer operators held at the Pennar Police Conference Hall on Tuesday, SP Raju emphasized that the integration of advanced technology and AI tools can expedite processes and enhance data accuracy.

Guidelines for quality and accurate reporting

SP Raju instructed senior officials to ensure that all requested information meets high standards of quality and precision. He highlighted the importance of comprehensive responses in public grievance redressal, investigation reports, and memos from superiors. He urged staff to follow specified standards for the Daily Situation Report (DSR) to ensure consistency and reliability in daily updates.

Using artificial intelligence for swift reporting

Staff at the session were given practical demonstrations on how artificial intelligence can support faster and more precise reporting to higher authorities. By incorporating AI tools, officers can provide high-quality information promptly, supporting both daily operations and urgent investigations.

Focus on professional development

SP Raju encouraged the participating station SIs, writers, and computer operators to fully leverage training programs to boost their professionalism. He stressed that these programs are designed to enhance skills and adaptability in a technology-driven work environment.

Other officials present included DCRB Inspector D Bhaskar Reddy, Court Monitoring Cell Incharge Inspector S Vinay Kumar Reddy, Faction Zone CI Pullaiah, DTRB CI Mohammed Baba, and Chennuru CI Purushottam. The district’s IT core team, along with station SIs, writers, and computer operators, also actively participated in the program.
