Fit India’s 31st ‘Sundays on Cycle’ held nationwide with zeal

New Delhi-Gandhinagar: The 31st edition of Fit India Sundays on Cycle witnessed vibrant participation across 7000+ locations nationwide this weekend, as Union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya led over 500 cyclists in Gandhinagar, promoting the message “Fitness Ki Dose, Aadha Ghanta Roz.”
Nationwide turnout with PSU support
Over 7000 locations saw mass cycling events, organized in partnership with major PSUs like ONGC, Indian Oil, GAIL, HPCL, LIC and others. Around 3000 Namo Fit India Cycling Clubs participated.

Minister joins in Gandhinagar event
Dr. Mandaviya joined the cyclists in Gujarat and praised the nationwide momentum of the initiative. Arjuna Awardee Rajinder Singh Rahelu flagged off the event. Local leaders including MLAs, Mayor, and police officials were present.
Capital’s event flagged Off by The Great Khali
In Delhi, over 3000 participants joined at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium. Wrestler The Great Khali flagged off the event and urged youth to commit to daily fitness and stay away from drugs.
Special edition in Gurgaon with Raahgiri Foundation
A Gurgaon event included 700 participants enjoying cycling, yoga, street games, and cultural activities. It was jointly held with the Raahgiri Foundation.
Organised by MYAS with key fitness bodies
The initiative is led by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports with support from the Cycling Federation of India, MY Bharat, Yogasana Bharat, and Khelo India centres across India
