Samata Sainik Dal calls for unity and action.

Andhra Pradesh: In the wake of a landmark Supreme Court judgment on August 1, the Samata Sainik Dal has urged leaders and activists not to engage in mere political posturing but to focus on tangible actions for the welfare of Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). The organization’s statement comes amidst ongoing debates about caste-based sub-categorization and the effectiveness of constitutional welfare schemes.
Questions for reflection
When the governments failed to spend the allocated funds for SC/ST sub-plans deliberately, and have the so-called leaders of caste-based politics ever attempted legal actions to rectify this?
Why were no impleaded petitions filed in court by leaders who claim to represent caste communities?
Following the Supreme Court’s classification approval, why was there no effort to counteract the suspension of constitutional welfare schemes by the governments?
Why haven’t criminal cases been pursued against individuals who obtained jobs with fake certificates, despite the intellectual resources available?
In light of the Supreme Court’s 2005 ruling that SCs cannot be further classified for reservation purposes, why haven’t efforts been made to create supernumerary posts to benefit those affected?
Why is there no legal fight to address the backlog vacancies for SCs and STs, which continue to harm their interests?
Why can’t there be a concerted demand to fill thousands of backlog posts on an urgent basis?
Unity for effective solutions
Bethala Sudarshanam, State President of the Bharatiya Buddhist Mahasabha and Samata Sainik Dal Andhra Pradesh, emphasizes that collective action under unified leadership, rather than fragmented efforts by individual caste leaders, is crucial for effectively addressing these issues and advancing the welfare of SCs and STs.
