Andhra Pradesh:- In a coordinated protest led by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National and State Committees, leaders from various political parties demanded the immediate release of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Detained under charges involving investigation agencies CBI and ED, Kejriwal’s arrest has been labeled a “heinous act” by his supporters.

The protest was held at Tirupati Bus Stand, and they submitted a petition to Dr. B R Ambedkar. The leaders asserted that the misuse of investigation agencies was unconstitutional, despite the Indian Constitution grants bail. They raised slogans for his immediate release during the protest.

Prominent figures in attendance included AAP Tirupati District President Niru Gattu Nagesh, State Vice President Venkata Chalapathy, State Secretary Kalluri Balasubramaniam, State Spokesperson Kodivaka Chandu, Congress Party State Media Spokesperson Maganti Gopal Reddy, CPI Party District Secretary Murali, and CPM City Secretary Balasubramaniam. They unanimously condemned the alleged agenda of the BJP at the center to intimidate and subjugate opposition leaders through false charges and imprisonment without bail.

The leaders emphasized that nationwide, members of the India Alliance, student bodies, and youth organizations are showing solidarity with Kejriwal. They expressed concern over his deteriorating health, accusing the BJP of conspiring to endanger his life. The protestors have called for the United Nations to intervene immediately to ensure Kejriwal’s release.

Other notable participants included AAP District Social Media Incharge B Sunil, student leaders Kiran and Gangadhar, doctor section leaders Ahmed, Youth Congress Tirupati City President Beripalli Venkat Goud, and CITU leaders Madhav Krishna and Venu. AITC leader N . Ravi and others also joined the demonstration.

The gathering marked a significant moment of unity and resistance against what they perceive as the central government’s attempt to stifle political dissent.
