Christmas charity brings relief to needy families

Guntur – Andhra Pradesh: On the occasion of Christmas, the “Fellowship with Jesus” group organised a humanitarian outreach programme in the town, distributing a month’s supply of essential commodities to several underprivileged families, with advocate and social activist Madhasu Bhanu Prasad attending as the chief guest.
Essential commodities distributed
As part of the programme, each beneficiary family was provided with 25 kg of rice along with 26 varieties of essential household commodities, aimed at easing their immediate living hardships during the festive season.
Families in distress receive support
The beneficiaries included the family of Sheikh Khajavali from Rahmat Nagar, who is undergoing treatment for illness; Adambi, a grandmother from Maddi Nagar caring for five grandchildren after their parents succumbed to cancer; Annamma from Vaddera Colony near Viswanatha Theatre, who is suffering from paralysis; and the family of David, who became disabled following a road accident.
Chief Guest commends service initiative
Speaking on the occasion, Madhasu Bhanu Prasad appreciated the “Fellowship with Jesus” group for extending meaningful support to vulnerable sections of society. He said such service-oriented activities reflect the true spirit of Christmas and social responsibility.
Supporters and organisers appreciated
Bhanu Prasad lauded the financial contributors to the programme, including John Wesley, Maria, Santosh Lakshmi, Sheila and Bhagya. He also appreciated John Wesley and local pastor Prasanna Babu for motivating and organising service initiatives for the needy.
Chand Basha, Subhani and several others participated in the programme, contributing to the successful distribution of relief materials and extending solidarity with the beneficiaries.
